FLATS FOR THE PARTY-TESTED

posted on: Saturday, November 30, 2013

So, when Net-a-porter said: 'Style rethink:flats for the evening'- I was completely confused. Hundreds of years the heels have been considered as a choice for the eveninhg and now suddenly we were supposed to re-think it? I mean I haven't worn flats to any party since I was probably 14 and Olsen twins were making teenage movies, while I still though that is completely ok to sport your ultra fresh sneakers (my choice always fell on Adidas) on yet another teenage party.
But here I am, 25- and trying pointy flats for the cocktails. And it worked, and my feet seemed more than thankful the day after.
The trick is finding the right flats - I found that the pointy, glitzy ones really do the trick, as they are elegant enough to pass as a part of the night-life attire´ and keep your cool, but still be comfy enough to dance the night away... I mean I am not saying goodbye to my heels forever, but doing something else from time to time seems like a reasonable thought.
What do you think?

I am wearing True Religion shirt, Guess leather skirt, by Malene Birger pointy studded flats, Saint Laurent Betty, Maria Black rings, Eddie Borgo bracelet.

  8. they are a great alternative for tall girls, or those girls with skinny heels..if your legs are not long enough, or slim enought you have to put some heels or some wedges...
