NAVY

I have been wearing quite alot navy lately, no particular reason or though behind it. I guess that I have unconsciously fallen pray to the fashion propaganda from earlier seasons as I still clinging on the it's trends.
However it's still quite chilly in Norway so winter trends are still in full bloom(although my mind is set for FW in early spring). I love my Dagmar sweater and the textures with this skirt worked perfectly. I am still in the fase of abusing goodies that have just arrived (boots and the coat)  especially when they work so good with thing I already have in my closet.
Now, so many lovely thing will be arriving the next weeks that I can't wait to show u!

CHRISTMAS GOODIES

NOW, Christmas is over or at least in some parts of the world( I am so lucky to be celebrating it with my boyfriend on the 24 and tonight is my family's traditional Christmas Eve: twice as much presents)!

And I got this beauty from my parents that left me in wondrous moping for quite sometime now.

Is just so out of this world, to be on the uneloquent side, as really there is no words to describe the beauty of this bracelet.It's acid etched and sandblown paperthin gold made by Stefano Patriarchi bought by my parents when they were in Italy sometime ago.

SATURDAY'S MANDATORY STROLL

  SO, I have been a lousy blogger since the New Year has kicked in, but I have been really buried in work (dentistry can be long hours sometimes...) and when I got home it was already dark. So, not much shooting. I am back now and will post  regularly as usual, I promise.

Staurday's (especially with sales raging) are always reserved for a troll through the shops downtown and that is what we also did today. I got so many cute things that I can't wait to show you, but for now you are looking at my brand new Isabel Marant coat and Thakoon boots. I am so, so satisfied as I have been looking for a well tailored slouchy coat for quite some time,and being some procents of was a bargain.

Among all the SS13 trends I think that B&W is my favorite, especially layered as a power suit, as on the picture above!I loooooove the pink clutch to break it all up.
So, I will be investing in some B&W combos and on my 'ordered' list is a Balmain sweater, that will hopefully arrive asap.Also, I have been going through sales and bought some lovely pieces that I can't wait to show you!

BEAUTY ESSENTIALS

I am kicking the New Year in with some new makeup products that have- with snap of a fingers, become my beauty essentials. So, the most important thing for me is that my skin looks as natural as possible, but I have to say that my skin really is far from perfect.

    I have been using La Mer foundation for years and I still love it, but during the day I have gone over to using Clinique BB cream in 1. I have gotten so many compliments since I started to use it, and my skin looks dewy and fresh, yet so natural.
I have been so skeptic to BB's, yet this Clinique really works magic for me.
Another New IN is YSL cream blush, as I really do prefer them than the powder version.
Among other things I have been using Dior mascara's for eternity  and although I mix the different types I have been a big fan of them for years now. However I think that a mascara primer is a must.

I have made changes on my nail front to, however I am conducting a little experiment that if successful will be posted in about two-three weeks time.VERY excited to see the results....
