Ok, I have had my ears pierced as everyone has, but I have never used earings much. Actually, earrings have been a painful experience for me as the punched holes never seemed to grow and I have just thrown away the whole project out the window, after months of pain.
I started playing with the idea of giving it another go, when those fantastic hoops from Balmain SS13 hit the stores in february/march, but before I decided, they were already sold out and well, that was that. However, these simple beauties from Hermes are making the thought of trying to wear earrings very, very tempting again. They would be the perfect discrete accessorize against the tanned skin I am planning on getting in a few weeks time when I off to vacation...

Sorry to hear about the problematic ears... What happened actually happened (not really understanding the "grow" portion)? Anyways, if you meant it gets infected each time you wear a pair of earrings, you could give it a salt water soak. It's not as painful as it sounds.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the Hermes pair is beautiful! Give it a go again!
No, seriously the holes never grew properly so that the skin layer was never there, not infected really, just open wounds :S
DeleteSuch a beautiful pair!

The Hermes pair is far more beautiful than the one from Balmain's SS13.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you have difficulties with earrings, they probably are a better choice for your ears as well!
