SUNDAY TUNE

posted on: Sunday, December 29, 2013

Pre New-years Eve ( and per Copenhagen trip ) Sunday at the local rock bar. Very proud that my new Filippa K jacket (thank you so much for the fantastic Christmas gift!) was acknowledged by the coolest most hardcore rockers in town. I love the fact that is belted, it really gives that old school, french-chic note to the piece. and the charcoal color really makes it unique making this my staple piece for spring (and obviously warm winter ;). Paired with the beige thick waffle knit and my fav blue jeans makes this a perfect Sunday outfit for the lazy Holiday days.

NEW SEASON - NEW LENGTHS

posted on: Thursday, December 26, 2013

I hope you have had (and still have)lovely Holidays dear readers. I on my part am not doing much, besides sitting on the couch and eating.Which I shamefully admit is a reason for my all strech-and-very-loose outfit (luckily my brothert gifted me with a 'Green Kitchen' book so I don't think I will have to go a size up after the holidays :)).Also some other pretty amazing gifts have been waiting under my tree this time, that I can't even begin to explain how lucky I feel.
One of the reasons why I love this outfit so much (besides the fact that I can eat what and how much I want- read until my belly is on the verge of bursts) - is the whole silhouette of it, I have completely fallen in love with the new shape that has been happening on the catwalks lately - most of my short skirts have been substituted with the longer length or more distinct shape, usually paired with a looser jumper and a big oversized clutch. I do love accents here and there so rings everywhere have become my latest obsession on the accessory department.

I am wearing by Malene Birger jumper, H&M skirt, Stella Mccartney heels, clutch by Little Liffner, rings by Maria Black, Thomas Sabo (the gold ones) and Lara Bohnic (the three stacking rings)

THE PERFECT BOMBER

posted on: Sunday, December 22, 2013

Christmas is coming, huh?We are all probably at the same place, running around trying to find perfect gifts, what to wear etc.So some comfy outfit on the run is a must. I know I have wished for this fantastic bomber that I mentioned earlier (you can find it here in Bergen) but at the end couldn't wait for so long, and ended up getting it. Bundled up in a big scarf and my fav boots, search for the last gifts is on.

HAPPY HAPPY JOY- ON MY WAY

posted on: Friday, December 20, 2013

So, stuck in limbo at the airport as traffic in Bergen has become insane so I missed my flight.Annoying but not much to do with it. Anyway, I have had the chance to re-schedule the flight and am using spare time to catch up on some work. Like a new update on what I wores or just starting at my feet.
Or cuddling with my faux fur, which may seem strange thing to do on the airport, but I have had a crazy day so something soft and fuzzy to rest on is a big bonus.
Yupp, wearing the same happy thing as I did couple of days ago (although with a sneakers- twist) ,a pair of ripped jeans loosely cut above the ankles, Maison Scotch happyhappyjoy fur and a pair of simple black pumps.  Heaven.

I am wearing Maison Scotch fur and Cala&Jade purse both you can find here, Rag&Bone jeans, Saint Laurent heels,  rings by Maria Black and Thomas Sabo

Whipsy-dipsy masculine causal on a rainy day.  I love turtlenecks, and this one is a perfect burgundy cashmeremix that goes with pretty much everything I can drag out of my wardrobe.  And to be honest when it is neither hot nor cold, a good soft pull is gold-worth.
Spekaing of gold, I am so into edgy gold accents, like the earcuff I am wearing, I mean I wouldn't mind Repossi, but the one by Thomas Sabo does a pretty good job, ney?
For the record I sleep with my Stella's and Liffner clutch, those two are not leaving my side.

STYLE SECRETS WITH YVES ROCHER

posted on: Monday, December 16, 2013

I have head the fantastic opportunity to team up with Yves Rocher and share my style Secrets with them. being infront of the camera and generally sneaking up backstage with makeup artists and stylists, one really does pick up a trick or two on 'how to' - like for example if you want natural open eyes, and no mascara look, use as sharp precise liner (I use Stylo Regard in 01 Noir ) to draw small dots along the eyelashline- the eyes appear bigger an no mascara needed. For more beauty quick fix tips like these head over to Yves Rocher website and read a little more about it ;)

BLUE COAT

posted on: Sunday, December 15, 2013

We went from snowstorm  to spring temps all in couple of days, which gave a pretty reasonable excuse  to wear midi skirt and almost bare ankles, all with the powdery coat over to keep warm. You know I am a sucker for contrasts and it was only natural to pair a soft blue coat with a pair of chunky creepers, just to balance the feminine silhouette towards something more funky, or less ladylike if you would have it. On the other hand I also got this furry beauty by Little Liffner and it hasn't been leaving my arms since. And lets face it who doesn't want this warm little thing to hold in your hand when a cold wind starts to blow??

Hi peeps!Sorry for not tuning in! I have some cool news and have being organising apartment for a very exciting project to come. Thus, me being away, lots and lots of work.

Anyway, look what I got while running around the interior shops in Bergen! I spotted this amazebals fur on Aline Weber during NYFW and have been crazy about it since. Now, this cool store In Bergen called Vrimmel have had it in store but it sold out, and they have just ordered a new bach, me being on the lucky side, and whoop...!
(I have just teamed up with them, am-amazing choice and at not so insane prices;)
So, very funky piece as you can see, but when even my fiancé loved it and he definitely isn't into so very colourful pieces.I have been wearing it with burgundy New Balance and black jeans, but I can't wait to sport it with heels.

Another fantastic thing that has just entered my wardrobe is a lushes burgundy grained-leather cutiepie by the norwegian brand by Cala&Jade, btw it is fall/winter season so get it before it's gone :)

Colorful fur by Maison Scotch and bag by Cala&Jade- if you live in Bergen you can get both HERE.

DENIM AND PLAID

posted on: Tuesday, December 10, 2013

Slightly more girly version of what you are used to see me in, but it happens.
Now, before we say anything more, I am happy to announce that I will be working with a relatively new brand named Y.A.S. (they have had beautiful Pernille Teisbæk as their ambassador earlier) and I have been dying to show you this  denim skirt which is a part of their SS14 collection. Because, irrelevant to the fact that I am working with them, this skirt is pure awesomeness. It has that Stella McCartney feel to it, but a little more relaxed skater cut and a little more budget friendly. Actually  a lot more budget friendly.
It was a perfect match with the checked cropped sweater.

COMFY GRUNGE

The snowstorm, followed by the jump of 7 degrees and rain showers. SO, what to wear when the weather gods are clearly against any form for fashion and your regular down jacket and good boots feel like the only logical option? Three words : teddy coat + layering.
Of course you are supposed to pair teddy coat, ripped jeans, fishnets, plaid and leopard all at once, and you shouldn't at any point be worried it might end up tacky. Never.

Teddy coat by Storm&Marie, shirt and sweater by Just Female - all three just got from Vrimmel in Bergen on Saturdays shopping spree, jeans are Ralph Lauren Denim &Supply, Saint Laurent bag and heels, jewellery by Lara Bohnic and Maria Black.

WELL,HELLO THERE!

Are we talking perfect snow shoes, or what?
If you are following me on Insta (@portablepackage) you probably know that these beauties came in yesterday evening, and I can't even tell you how pleased I am to finally get them as they were sold out in black for ages now. I did consider getting a boot version but it just wasn't the same thing... Fortunately they were back in stock for a very short while (and I did pro-order them) so these Stella McCartney beauties arrived just in time for the first snow in Bergen. #happygal
P.S. I am wearing skincolored socks for the record (and woolen short socks,) just so nobody goes OMG on me.

(peep)coat by Carven and jeans are BLKDNM

Happy weekend lovely!

ONESIE

SO, I finally got one too! Can't believe that I didn't get a pair of dungarees a little sooner as they are sooo comfortable...!Actually it was this that convinced me at the end, and the fact that with some proper  'parisiene' (read: some chunky jewellery a pair of black pumps, red lips and a masculine  coat) styling you can actually still look like a respectable adult in a pair of onesis. And still be comfy enough to want to wear them again.A winner in my wardrobe no matter season.
For the record this is a pre snow-storm outfit, I was just to sick to edit it until now.

I am wearing Current&Elliot dungarees, Vanessa Bruno coat, Acne shirt (mens), Saint Laurent pumps, by Malene Birger purse, vintage necklace and Eddie Borgo bracelet.

PARTY NAILS- OR DROPPING GLITTER STATEMENT

I am so into simply painted nails right now, I mean as glitter is everywhere, having completely ordinary nails suddenly seems like a fresh idea. These shades never fail and as their names indicate they are highly party-appropriate.

So, finally back on my feet, or partially at least, but hey I am getting there.
Anyway when linked to the bed, suddenly computer and the infinite number of different series on TV are suddenly your best friend, and any form of fashion news are welcome.
Like the PRF collections landing one by one, and here Joseph Altuzarra is one of my favs.
I mean those steamy slits and mules simply can't go wrong

BEIGE KNITS

posted on: Sunday, December 1, 2013

OK, when it comes to knits I am a sucker for the ones in beige and preferably well oversized. Actually this one is  an  original Irish knit (men's) found on Ebay. I also have my eyes set on two by Celine and I really wouldn't mind that 'The Row' beauty either.
So, beige sweaters obsession-oh, yes very much so I 'm afraid.
One of my fav combos lately paired with light blue shirt and raw denim jeans  just to put emphasise  on knits color and texture.
Sunday perfection.
