CURRENTLY UP TO

 From croptops to oversized sweaters, I am currently up at a mountain cabin enjoying pretty nature and everchanging weather. I pulled on my Grand love from Hope and paired it with bleached denim as I am sooo into beige/light blue combo currently, and just went strolling around the island as the nature is breathtaking here.

SUMMERTIME

So, this is officially my first post on the new Macbook as my laptop has said bye and farewell some days ago (thus the lack of posting and general silence). And after a few days of pulling my hair in irritation I have finally found my way around this squarything that still seams from another world.
But back to the outfit, At first I was quite skeptical in pairing a crop-top with a shorter skirt, but when the temperatures are still insane at 10 pm the idea of wearing very,very little clothes was tempting. So, I tried it on and I have to say that I loved the result. Although I was first concerned that it would be just to tacky and even cheap-looking it worked because of the fact that the skirt is highwaisted and the medium heel, actually it just added a cool spice to the outfit and made it very clubbing-in-tropical-temperatures friendly. Funny enough I am currently spending the days in a big knit as we are up in the mountains at the family cabin...

THINKING OF : LACE SLIP AS A DRESS

So, not the biggest Zara fan (mainly because I find them overpriced in the light of quality they deliver, but...) however this pic from their AW campaign embodies spot on the trend I have had on my mind for the last couple of months : Laceslip or a delicate lace dress worn with some heavy masculine coat. I find the subtle punk reference and a node to the sultry classic very, very appealing this season.

SUMMER FAVOURITE: MATCHING SEPARATES

Ok, many of you would think - why travel anywhere if you are going to hang by the hotel pool?, but for me coming from Bergen and 13C to sunny Montenegro and 35C was like being hit in the face by the heat. Literary.
So, (although I now have a really,really nice tan )the midday was completely unbearable for the first couple of days. But a good packer as I am a have foreseen all of this and packed my favorite breezy and very matchy ensemble from the ultra-cool FWSS. I have been into matching tops and bottoms for a while now,looking for  pieces that almost resembles onesie, yet had all the versatility of a two piece outfit.So this navy/white geometric print combo was a love at first sight,and being made in silk (a BIG plus when being on ultrawarm place) gave the whole look a perfect slouchy fit, not loosing the tailoring for the sake of comfort. One word: love.

I am wearing FWSS shorts and shirt, Cooee Silver cuff, Eddie Borgo bracelet, Georg Jensen watch and a RayBans.

It's the Daria-effect - fashions favorite gal landing once again Celine and Isabel Marant campaigns, and at it looking perfectly lovely in both of them, channeling just the right amount of attitude mixed with a right dose of coolness.Way to go girl(s)!

LAZY SUNDAY

So, tons of clothes are waiting to be unpacked, yet I couldn't get myself  to open a suitcase - instead we popped by our favourite coffee shop. Although we spent the days in Montenegro laying on the beach we spent the nights strolling around which in turn meant Sunday spent in flats was a blessing. So nothing fancy today,just a shorts and a sweater.And a pop of  color that really giver a nice contrast to my newly obtained tan... And a mood lifter for the rainy, gloomy and so very dark Bergen ;)

Hell my dear readers! I am officially back from my vaca and despite the lack of updates I have been a good blogger and snapped most of my outfits.
