THE REVIVAL OF THE TRENCH

I am currently on my way to Oslo for a little business trip-so,  just a quick post on what I wores yesterday. I was just in and out off the office, but with the weather so shifty I decided to try on my BF's a trench coat, just to mix it up a bit because quite frankly I am tired of wool coats. Slightly oversized but you know  that's how I like them. And I have to say that I love how the classic silhouette works with the ripped denim, giving a slightly Cobain feeling to it, a look that I am currently more than into.

This years Costume Institute Gala celebrates punk at it's best through the exhibition Punk: From Chaos to Couture and in that event the  wonderful Moda Operandi has launched the exclusive punk collection.
Serisoulsy obsessing about this look, wouldn't mind  a doublebreasted blazer from Balmain hanging in my closet right now

CURRENTLY INTO...

Flat slippers, as long it's not raining or snowing, and I have my eye already on a new pair by well, non other than Celine.

MOVIES

Me and my love decide to celebrate a midweek break with a little trip to the cinema. The choice fell on 'Oblivion' (two hours of my life I will never get back- ok being unfair the concept was ok, but seriously that was some bad acting going on there) but movies aside  my choice of clothing fell on an easy - very 90's- inspired outfit with some gold hardware detailing. 

It is still quite cold here, so those who follow me on Insta (ila030) have noticed that my latest pics include a lot of knits and my, I am so happy for not packing those away with the first promising rays of sun, which have now turned into hail the last couple of days....

10 SPOONS OF WISHFUL THINKING

1, I am in dire need of new leather jacket and this from BLK DNM is on my mind 2. Saint Laurent printed T 3. Dream overalls by Current/Elliott 4. A new pair of Ray Ban 5. Stella Mccartney perspex sandals 6. Looking for the new black purse and this Celine Blade has become a new obsession despite the size 7. Dior Vernis in 'Incognito'- the perfect rosy shade 8. as I mentioned these Lancome+Lanvin are  sticks full of happiness.

DOWN THE LANE

I guess that Sunday's are perfect for this kind of easy dressing. I call it easy because everything down the grunge/rock/leather lane falls very naturally to me. Although I can't recall last time I on purpose ripped my jeans( 7th grade or so??). But a little tear here and there looked so fantastic in the  else rigorous denim by ACNE,and I can't even begin to tell you how overenthusiastic I am over my Dries shirt, seriously if anyone knows where I can get the burgundy one in organza plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz let me know. I haven't felt so pretty in something so easy in ages, which in turn turns on me 'hoarding' pathways....

HAPPY

I am not a sucker for pretty wrappings but this cute little makeover by Mr. Elbaz fro Lnacome just made me happy. Sometimes that is reason enough to try on a new mascara. Or maybe hoard a whole bunch of them when they arrive in store on 15 June...
