FEVERISH CRAVINGS

I am not sure if it is fever talking (yupp, still sick)or is it just that my head got clearer from the starting at the shoes last three days, but I have been obsessing about this particular pair from Dior for a while now. Everything is perfect and falls right into 'buy it now' category: they are supercute and sooooo this season, yet there is something so timeless about them that I can easily see them function well in my wardrobe next 5 years. The details are enough to plump every outfit and being no- fuss girl, little easy-extras is always desirable. On the other hand I can't seem to decide which color to take, orange (which are kind of a badass) or the pink ones which are naturally more graceful and delicate?

Spring cleaning after fashion weeks. All the beautiful clothes you bought, but at the end you realize that they are hanging untouched in the closet. And although it pains me to be parted with some of the pieces, they are in need of somebody who will love them and wear them.
Are u the one?
Jus email me on irina.lakicevic@gmail.com for any questions or if you want to get your fingers on these fab pieces before someone else does!

BACKSTAGE AT TSUMORI CHISATO- ARE YOU INTO LOBSTERS??

posted on: Tuesday, April 9, 2013

SO whether you are into lobsters ( the inspiration behind Chisato's collection ) cooked or on the bottom of the ocean I think that these awkward looking creatures (you would look awkward too if your legs were glued together)gave a starting point to a fantastic collection. The shapes and colors were clearly referencing lobsters and ocean life in general, but a theme that has been 'done' thousendandone time got a completely new life with the Chisato's eccentric vision and way of interpreting things. Now, I am not a fashion critic (although my Virgo personality in pursuit of perfection has a tendency of criticizing things way tooo much) but although the Tsumori's collection was an eccentric one, it was a very covetable one full of punch line pieces which we bloggers adore, swear to and well, prey on. What I think made the collection look so sumptuous is the constructed tailoring mixed with razor blade sharp pleats mixed with beautiful vivid colors. (That skirt from above is my I HAVE TO HAVE IT piece no questions asked)

What do you think, are lobsters becoming a new fashion mascot (we all remember Tibi last season??)

OOOHHH, SPRING??

Or at least it seems so. And out of all beautiful trends out there I decided to go back to basics with colorblocked denim and some black leather on top. Can't say that I wasn't inspired by the Celine ads lately with the 90's hair casually tossed aside and some big sunnies, that the more I look at them the more they seem to reference the 70's look. And the same goes for my outfit more or less. Lately slouch trench coats have been on my mind lately softening the sleeker silhouette as worn by me, but are also more than perfect fit the slouchy fit. Yupp, it sounds like Celine SS13 has come completely under my skin.

P.S This is my first time sporting the new sunnies that I got earlier this week!

I am wearing Burberry Prorsum leather trench (men's), shirt is  Marc Mcnairy(men's), old JBrand jeans that have finally entered jeans heaven, Saint Laurent pumps, Valentino bag and Celine sunnies.

DO HIP TEENS WEAR BLUE JEANS?

posted on: Monday, April 8, 2013

The newest addition to my currently non existing jeans family is this pair of  -  oh so, hip raw denim pair from Saint Laurent.I buy jeans once in five-ten years, so when I commit to a pair it's ' till (their) death do us apart, for that sole reason of me hating to try them on. Seriously, I think that over the years I have developed a phobia for trying on jeans as I never seem to find a good pair for my slightly curvy hips. But I think that all the bells rang when I tried these one. I LOVE the wash, as it is so cool and simple, and with all these hipp denimprint things going on I found myself missing a simple blue pair with a pop of mustard seem. I found it almost impossible to find the simplest, slightly dark blue color.
It was like the blue jeans weren't so desirable for a while?
So, what do you say my hip readers, are the plain blue jeans back, and wishlisted?
P.S A tip if you are buying SL jeans- at first they are so tight, but they widen out in 15 min!

GOLD HARDWEAR

posted on: Sunday, April 7, 2013

Although I am not a big jewelry wearer, due to my job it isn't the most natural thing, but I have had some delicate hardware on my mind lately. There is something with subtle gold details that makes the whole outfit just stand out. Also as they are very delicate it is slightly important that they are not to girly, but just right amount of edgy. Here are some my favourites and if you just bare with me I'll where they are from.

1. Eddie Borge earings 2. Repossi ring 3. Maria Black earings 4.Isabel Marat necklace . Cartier braclet 6. Maria Black cuff 7. Monica Vinader 8. Maria Black ring
