ONE OUTFIT, TWO PAIR OF SHOES

So, hectic day today!Last touches to the LFW wardrobe,  shooting for the whole next week,
as I have been working really hard lately!
I am always going on and on how a lot of my style is night-to-day or work-to-cocktail and I wanted to show you lovely readers. A lesson in layering was added to my winter survival guide and wool and leather are the key ingredients. I have been wearing  a lot of turtlenecks and sweaters lately and although you can't really see it here, or at least not veeery well.
Anyways, heels for the dinner date and flats for the end of shopping marathon.
Although they are different which one do you prefer?

ONE THE GROUND LEVEL

This my second pair of proper flats (except the pink Crocks used on work, but that is a whole another story...). I have been reluctant to get a pair of proper masculine loafers, well because they do differ from my view on aesthetics, but ACNE made  a pair that fitted so well  that at the end I couldn't resist...AND on the last chance sale! How would have thought that I would buy something that made sense and was on the economic side...
My darling certainly did no..
But than again that is another story...

MY HEART GOES POP !

Jeans. The eternal search for the perfect pair, which for my part has only led to eternal suffering in the changing room, and in 90% of the cases me leaving the store emptyhanded- more or less frustrated.
That is until the phenomenon 'boyfriend fit' came and made an entrance on the fashion scene. Now, I am not going to idolize, finding a good pair of jeans is  a tricky buisness, but at least I didn't have to worry too much about how they fitted around my hips.
So, the POP model from ACNE came into my life one day when in Oslo- Sara tried them on.I loved their narrow, almost boyish straight cut around the waist and slightly tapered just-over the ankle fit. They were quirky and odd, and with just enough coolness as they really looked like you have just snatched them out of your bf's closet. Now they also come in all this beautiful colors, I can't seem to decide which one to go for....

ON THE BRIGHTER SIDE

Also,I am so into skinny blue jeans at the moment, I think I have been using them with everything. Here with my fab pair from JBrand. Oldie, but goodie!

Love, love, love this photo by Tommy! What fell into liking is the clear contrast in it, the fresh royal blue and strict grey, the contrast between the fresh and the masculine and the ultimate contrast of what's in now opposite to the timeless. It's seriously a photo that has captured it all for me, actually one of my fav street photos of all time. And the styling?? Sublime!

LET'S TALK DETOX!

So, this is pretty much what is my fridge!
My annually post-Holiday detox has started some time ago and will be in full swing until the end of FW. It's not a diet, but my body seriously needs a cleanse. However, the problem is my darling who lives with me is a  gourmand, and even my finest Caesar salad looks like a dogfood compered to his homemade fresh burger and fries. I mean it  kind of got  demotivating.
Which at the end got me thinking: is  my annual cleanse is  just a joke as I am constantly lusting for a good Club Sandwich, or basil and tomato muffins?Or is it a healthy way of eating that instead of cleanse should be more an all- year menu?
What do you my dear readers, should we detox or are we just fooling ourselves?

OK, spring is on my mind and I am completely ignoring the fact that the temperature has just crawled a little bit over 0.However my mind is set on upcoming FW and Paris and all the SS13. So, if I could wear anything right now, this would be it!
Is it to early to write to Santa again??
